There was this nest full of happy birds and one was about to fly away. The lil one whispered a fond adieu and spread its wings for a new dawn. She sunned her feathers to flutter through the winds. Her gleeful chirping would be terribly missed by the rest who have gathered to give her flowers and smiles to carry in her heart till she meets the sun of the new dawn. The evening came damped in tears, but they said, ” follow the sun, dear”. The hearts felt heavy and smiles were getting wet and as she flew away, she turned and spared a glance at the nest once home to her. The hues of farewell spread the skies but the new dawn would surely befriend those shades, because it will be shaded with colours of hope.
